STATEMENT

Jono Studio prepared the photography and short 3D film for the LG OLED TV W9 and LG OLED TV E9 in a project that illustrates the minimal design and stunning expressiveness of both displays. We presented the elegant message that the LG OLED TV line takes you beyond familiar spaces and draws you into new and exciting experiences.

Jono Cho, the director and photographer, collaborated with 3D producer Morphika to prepare stunning scenes of nature and minimal interior designs to highlight both products’ characteristics. He also used geometric settings and light thoughtfully to produce images showing the products at their best.

Staying true to the message that “The W9’s minimal design allows audiences to focus solely on the visual experience”, the backdrop of the scene was kept as featureless as possible to draw attention to the display itself. It is often said that “The E9 looks like a thin screen floating in space.” Carefully oriented light and shadows were used to highlight the glass material on the display, making the E9 truly appear to be floating.
