Jono Studio produced the introduction film for the new LG OLED TV GX, in partnership with 3D video producer Psyop and Seoul-based advertising agency Krema Worldwide. After understanding the brand and agency's vision, we worked with director Shane Griffin to draft a story and prepare the human resources, processes, and scheduling required for the 3D video production. Throughout, Jono Studio managed a constant flow of communication with Shane and the advertising agency to draw together LG's vision wit h the director's story. The project is produced entirely with 3D and VFX, and 2winsome provided the original audio. 

Great technology for art

The expressiveness of LG OLED screens' technology was our focus in the LG OLED TV GX project, and an artistic approach was most appropriate. Shane focused intently on color tone, backdrops, and metaphorical objects when presenting LG OLED technology. He also used the movement of light carefully to depict the transformation of rough, textured objects into the seamless, modern LG OLED TV.

The team's attention to detail with technology allowed us to create an interactive and genuine portrayal of the product. We focused on movement, both of light and objects, and attentive use of different hues to express the contemporary and premium feel of the LG OLED TV. The end product exquisitely portrays the LG OLED TV's minimal design, thin build, and perfect black display. The lighting was minimal, but we used it to emphasize the tactile texture of the backdrops and objects. Jono Studio's production, the director's story, and Psyop's impeccable 3D technology laid the practical groundwork to execute this ambitious vision.
