Jono Studio produced the visual content for the LG OLED TV R9, the world's first rollable display.

By portraying the angles and curves of the display, we focused on the product's aesthetic and unique form factor straying away from the traditional rectangular TV. VFX 3D also allowed us to illustrate a detailed portrayal of OLED technology beautifully.

With product images in hand, we worked with British photographer Mitch Payne and renowned American director Stephen McGehee to draft ideas for a product that didn't exist yet. In addition to understanding the existing OLED TV line, we searched for objects that incorporated angles and curves harmoniously. We wanted an inventive way to express the complexities of a rollable product rather than merely focusing on the external vertical movement of a screen. Human-friendly nature, moving screens, and curved objects playing on the products' displays amplified the creative visual we were hoping for.

We introduced the world's first rollable TV in January 2019 at CES in Las Vegas. Our production drew worldwide attention to the LG OLED TV R9 by focusing viewers on the TV's groundbreaking form factor.

Our production was played at CES 2019, LG's global website, LG’s social media, as well as by media outlets around the world.
